This place does a fantastic job of providing a hearty meal. The ranchero cheese enchiladas and the green chili enchiladas are fantastic. The sides of beans and rice are also well-seasoned. This place has a free salsa bar. I would highly recommend getting an extra order of chips so you can enjoy.
Still enjoying Dos Coyotes. It's my family's go-to place to eat dinner when we're grocery shopping in the area.
This is not an authentic Mexican restaurant.... This is a family favorite. Hubby and I tend to do the shrimp or mahi burritos. The kids love the chicken and rice plate. It's easy and there is always space available. Miss one star for the papas taco. Not good! Way too much sour cream on top and within the coleslaw mixture. I was confused by the cut up potatoes when typically a papas has mashed potatoes.
Dos Coyotes was one of my favorite places to eat when I was studying in UC Davis. My friend from college happened to love this restaurant too. We are so happy they have one closer to home. It's been awhile since I came to this restaurant. It's still just as good. I love the salsa bar. It's the reason why I come here! The salsas are so good! We ordered our food and seated ourselves. The food arrived before we even sat down! Such quick service and kind staff! Spacious and plenty of seating! 10/10 recommend!
Pretty good burrito if you're in the area. You order at the front and can sit anywhere, they have an open salsa bar. The salsa pack some pretty good flavor to them. I got myself a border burrito with steak and ranchero sauce (makes it a wet burrito). It does get pretty pricey if you add the steak and ranchero sauce but if you stick with just chicken, it is definitely cheaper than chipotle. I also got my order for takeout.
